John DeLorme★★★★Very relaxing pub environment. Friendly staff . Food offerings that differ based on where you are seated is quite unusual. Depending on where you are seated, the menu changes ? Not sure why that is a thing . The charcuterie board was excellent! Our food was delicious, the fish was crispy outside and light flaky inside.Very fresh and tasty . The chips were a bit undercooked, and a bit too soggy . The fish portion was very respectable. The pie of the day was Pork. Tasty although slightly overpowered by a sage seasoning. There was a honey glazed bacon chop as a special which was very good itself
Tim Mullins★★★★★If you ever visit Galway, I highly recommend having dinner at this restaurant. It was amazing inside with multiple floors and many different dining areas. We had a quiet little table for two upstairs with a window looking down on Galway. The food was next level. If you like fish chowder, get it here!! It could have been my meal!! The oyster shooter was also excellent. My wife had the Duck meal and I had the chicken. Both were super tasty and prepared perfectly. The meat on both meals was super juicy and so tasty. All around excellent experience and not crazy expensive.
Jenn R★★★★★This was my FAVORITE restaurant during my trip to Ireland. I came here on my first night and it set the bar for all other restaurants, my husband also loved it so much we came back on our last night. He doesn't really like oysters in the US but here he asked if we could order multiple rounds of them which was a first. We both agreed this was one of our favorite restaurants around the world. The drinks were great (margarita & aran island cocktail), we loveddd the Rockefeller oysters (so unique and done to perfection), ribeye with chimichurri and the seafood chower was phenomenal. A special sho
Laura Azur★★★★★Surely one of the best pubs in Galway (and yet there are so many!!). The food was delicious, the setting both beautiful and original, and the service by Derren just impeccable. We recommend it without restraint !
