⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – "A hidden gem in the heart of Jerusalem" I came upon Etz Cafe during a recent trip to Jerusalem, and it turned out to be one of my favorite dining experiences in the city. Atmosphere: Warm, inviting, and beautifully designed – rustic yet modern. The name "Etz" (tree) is fitting; there's a natural, earthy feel with wooden accents and soft lighting that makes you want to linger over coffee for hours. Food: Outstanding. Everything tasted like it came straight from the local market. Coffee: World-class. Their espresso blend is smooth, full-bodied, and never bitter. The cappuccino arrived with beautiful latte art – a small touch that shows they care. Service: Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff took time to explain the menu and even offered a taste of their homemade dishes Value: Reasonable prices, especially given the quality- a steal for Jerusalem. This place has really good food. They were very short staffed and slammed but I’m sure it due to being one of the only places open on Shabbat. We sat at the only table inside which might have been a mistake. We felt kinda ignored but when they did acknowledge us they were more than friendly and apologized profusely. They were understaffed but also not sure how’d they alleviate the problem because the kitchen is so small. All of the food was phenomenal so it made up for it. We had the carrot cake, pizza roll, shashuka, French toast and affogato and a vanilla latte. The coffee was very very dark but delicious! The French toast was perfectly crispy and the best thing on the plate. The shashuka was also phenomenal. The carrot cake 10/10. The pizza roll was still good but it had mushrooms in it which was not a delightful addition for me but I don’t like mushrooms! Overall very very good food and very nice staff!
