Udi Barkan★★★★★

One of the most delicious meals I can remember, and one of the most joyful restaurant experiences I’ve had. This is simple Italian food at its best! Generous, honest, full of flavor, and absolutely beautiful in its simplicity. Every dish that came to the table was outstanding. Nothing felt forced or overcomplicated, just deeply delicious food cooked with heart and precision. The whole experience felt like the Italian restaurant everyone dreams about from the movies - warm, alive, full of family, food, energy and soul. Riccardo and his family created something truly special here since 1955.

Quite simply the best meal I have ever had in my 61 years! Tagliatelle with bolognese was so good I had 2 plates. Followed by the most succulent fillet steak which melted in the mouth. Rounded off with a sugaring dessert platter of home made panna cotta, chocolate flan and almond ice cream. If you only go to one restaurant make it De Cesari. Don’t forget to book or you will be left disappointed.

Service was marvellous. Atmosphere was authentic and welcoming. We went for lunch with 2 kids without reservation. Got the Ragu, Tortellini in Broth and Pumpkin Ravioli. The food was great and authentic but not mind blowing. We also got the desert taster and liked the chocolate brownie and the Pannacota. The standout was definitely the friendliness of the staff, thank you for the hospitality.

What an amazing place! I’m so happy we got the chance to eat here. The place is family owned and the atmosphere is authentic and real. The waiter was really good and always on top, recommended some really good food. We ended up ordering aubergine tomato rolls, which has such a great taste! And then two pasta dishes: ravioli with rabbit and a special gramignone with sausage.
