We had brunch hera on Saturday, 3 January 2026. We came from Rome took the train to visit Florence. The cafe is just a 10 mins walk from the Firenza Santa Maria Novella train station. There were outdoor & indoor sittings. The lady staff who served us was friendly & courteous in showing our table. The were many choices of bread & cakes...we just loved them all

This place is basically a scam. When you enter, there is a big menu with two prices (take away and table) the table menu is much costlier than the take away (normal in Italy) However, when you take the take away option at the counter, he upps the price at least one or two euro from the take away menu. Furthermore, the hot chocolate we got was very watery and was 5 euro for the size that's in the picture.

We ordered tiramisu and cheesecake for takeaway and the taste wasn't good at all. The treats were frozen and the price was really expensive for a product that is so cheap in reality. Don't go there!!!

We went here for breakfast a few times as our bed and breakfast was affiliated with this restaurant and we had paid for breakfast via the hotel. The pistachio croissant was amazing! I've never had anything like it, the pistachio cream filled in the croissant was a brilliant concept. The staff both the gentleman and the lady were always very friendly to us and service was speedy.
