I was really impressed by the choice of wines from small producers at this simple and traditional osteria, with many also available by the glass. The atmosphere was perfect, low key and friendly and there's a great menu of tasty local dishes. I'll certainly return next time I'm back in Parma!

Oh the wine, the wine. The local Lambrusco was so nice (and affordable) that we had 2 bottles between 2 people. The combination of parma ham and parmeggiano reggiano cheese with good olive oil and bread tops of a timelessly simple but exquisite meal. Trying horse meat for the first time was nice, it tasted very much like beef. I am not a big fan of polenta so I cannot judge if it was good, but the potatoes were excellent, I recommend those.

Tracey Claver★★★★★

They are not fussin’ around. No fluff, just good traditional food. The cappelleti in brodo is the best we’ve ever had.
