We had one evening in Trieste as we were passing through to Florence. It was a cool evening as we walked amongst the Christmas market stalls and cafes taking in the atmosphere although, even though it was still around 7.30pm there wasn’t as much happening as you would expect. We were looking for a bright place to stop and have a drink and we found it at Corte Cafe where there were only a couple of tables left, the rest were occupied by folk drinking and eating and full of life.
