After visiting Ralto Bridge, decided to have dinner. Chose this plc becos it’s a few minutes walk after fm Ralto Bridge, hence not so crowded/ hectic. The service staff here also more willing to serve/ accommodating. As in all major tourist locations, food is decent, nothing to shout about. Generous with ingredients though. But at least u enjoy the Venice dinning experience next to the waterfront at Ralto bridge.

I know most of the establishments on the Grand Canal by Rialto Bridge are tourist traps but I saw a whole table of the local gondola operators, so I took that as a good sign and we were tired and hungry after a long day. The food and service were pretty good in my opinion. I’m giving a 1-star because I value honesty. The restaurant already charges a cover fee but then I noticed an item charge for 6 or 9 Euros (I forgot the item description now) that we didn’t order and also a 12% service fee. None of this was disclosed prior. Unfortunately, I was too tired to argue and confront them.

Thank you Alexandrio! We had a wonderful time! Great restaurant with the best food and view over the grand canal. The atmosphere along with the service makes this stop a no brainer.

The cover charge and the service fee is too high - 12 euros for 3 people.. they also made us move from our seat by the water because we didn’t buy dinner just drinks and dessert/snack. Then the table was empty the whole night! They also clear your plate before ur done… The bruschetta bread was kind of stale but maybe it’s supposed to be like that I’m not sure. Panna Cotta was ok. 10 euros. And I expected the spritz to be more for 8 euros. Anyways that’s what you get for sitting by the water in Venice.
