What people say

Ambience was top-notch, service was okay but the staff could be trained in customer service. Food was okay however what they call sautée potatoes are just potatoes with turmeric. Overall experience was good. I would consider going back.
Superb experience. The nyama was fantastic and the plush accompaniments were delightful. The ambience view and breeze from the lake was breathtaking. I would recommend couples when going to Zocalo
Had to leave the place after the supposed manager kept making calls and charging extra money just for sitting on the grounds. Insisting that our party of 5 have to spend 20k on food in order to use the premises Wanted us to pay in order to use our own photographer....or pay and extra 5k

The place setting is amazing. The views are stunning. Went there to watch a sunset and was not disappointed. The food is so affordable and so good. I had their pork platter and we had drinks too. The place is suited for group and couple vibes and if you go alone you might feel left out. 10/10 experience.

Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The waitress was exceptional—warm, attentive, and welcoming (I just wish I remembered her name). The views were stunning, especially as night fell—watching the water, boats gliding by, and people fishing created such a beautiful, calming scene. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for unwinding. And the food? The chicken and potatoes were absolutely delicious. Definitely the kind of place for anyone who appreciates great food and a serene ambience.

Such a chill place. Private sheds, seats facing the dam, and a beautiful gesture to include a bouncing castle for the kids. You could watch the sunset over and over on those lawn chairs 👌. Having a pool table is also a plus and of course a very ample bar to watch football over the weekends. Highly recommended.

A Perfect Afternoon at "The Zocalo" where good vibes meet great food. I spent the afternoon soaking in the serenity of the water, the soft breeze & the relaxed ambiance just the right escape from the hustle. Clouds drifted lazily overhead $ I found myself in a perfect moment of calm, cap on, feet up $ a smile on my face. Then came the highlight of the day: Nyama Choma that hits just right! Juicy, smoky & loaded with flavor, paired perfectly with a generous serving of onions. The rustic wooden tables $ open-air seating made it feel like a backyard cookout, but better. If you’re ever craving a chill vibe, good food, $ a view that soothes the soul, The Zocalo is a must-visit 🌊🍃

Such a serene place,, one of those places you can just sit down listening to birds chirping, reading a good book or even meditating about life. You're not limited to trying other things because why not😃
