Lovely Java House in Nyali with a comfortable atmosphere and great service. Jane was especially helpful and attentive, and I appreciated that they were happy to substitute some items without any fuss. The food was delicious, and overall I was very happy with the experience. I would definitely come back.

☕✨ “on My first time to Mombasa my visit at Java House was truly special and memorable. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting and vibrant. Their food 🥘 is not only delicious but beautifully presented, making every bite a delight. And the customer service? Absolutely amazing 🤩 the staff were attentive, friendly, and made me feel right at home. Java House is more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience worth repeating.”

I honestly don’t understand why people choose to eat here when there are SO MANY flies. it was literally A LOT OF FLIES, i felt like i was in the fish market. I’ve never been to a restaurant or café with this many flies even though we were sitting indoors. There was no air conditioning and they didn’t even turn on the fans, so it was extremely hot. The staff could clearly see us struggling with the flies but didn’t do anything until we had to ask for candles to keep them away. When the candle burned out, no one came to replace it we had to ask again. We even had to replace one of our drinks because flies got into the glass. It was honestly a terrible experience. We’ve loved Java House at other branches, but we will never come back to this one. Completely disappointing, bad service and very disgusting.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Partway through eating our pizza, we found hair baked into it. It was extremely unhygienic and completely put us off our food. We immediately stopped eating and left over half the pizza untouched because the thought of continuing was unbearable. What made the situation even more concerning was that only after we complained did the staff begin wearing hair nets. This strongly suggests that basic hygiene standards were not being followed beforehand. If proper precautions had been in place from the start, this situation could have been avoided entirely. When you’re paying for food, the absolute minimum expectation is cleanliness. Finding hair in a pizza is unacceptable and shows a lack of care and attention in the kitchen. The experience ruined our meal and left us feeling uncomfortable rather than satisfied. I would strongly avoid this place. If you value hygiene and want to actually enjoy your food without worrying ab

Unfortunately, some of the staff appear to wish they weren't working here! And it's the only one, of a good few that I've been to, who prepare their latte's as a latte machiato with a deep light foam at the top with three layers rather than the traditional microfoam. Very disappointing 😔
