What people say

Absolutely enjoyed dining here. Lovely decor and stellar service. Great portions served so quality and quantity guaranteed. The cocktails are to die for as well. Oh and did I mention that they have free games for guys to play while enjoying their meals?
Homely and rustic. Cute cafe with good service and lovely drinks. Good spot for a quiet date, board games with friends or you can put your head down for moderate work. The lady servicing was friendly and patient as we delayed with our orders.
A cool place to grab a meal and cocktails at a fair price. Happy hour should be the best time to be here. Parking is limited so it’s better to come here with an Uber It’s recommended to call and reserve a seat beforehand especially on weekends and late evenings.

The food was amazing and the services were great. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was kinda empty so no waiting time. The chicken samosas were juicy and the loaded fries were very cheesy and yummy. The happy hour was for 3 cocktails at 1000 shillings and they didn't disappoint. I dare say it was a 10/10 for me:)

I had a really disappointing experience at Café Kaya. The waiter (a tall, light-skinned man) had very poor customer service. He told us to leave the table we were seated at because it was “reserved,” yet it stayed unoccupied for about four hours. He then asked for our IDs and claimed mine didn’t look like me, requesting additional proof, which was unnecessary and quite rude. He also refused to let us order a platter, saying it was “for one person only,” even though that wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu. We ended up ordering a pizza and waited around 30 minutes for it. Later, he even had an issue with me moving my chair slightly and insisted I put it back. Overall, the experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Definitely not the kind of service you’d expect at a café

This place is only good for strong cocktails during happy hour. Remember to make reservations prior. I do not recommend having a meal here. I ordered lamb chops and fries. The fries were basic at best and the lamb chops were full of oily sections. The chicken skewers were cold and bland. In addition, the waitress was slow and uncooperative.

A lovely quiet place to chill at, the ambiance was so good. They have board games to play there. You can also reserve a table for your group in advance. They have good cocktails, though I didn’t feel alcohol in them as much😅make use of happy hour. Food was good as well and the waitress was very kind to us. It’s a 5star for me.
