This restaurant came highly recommended as one of Benghazi’s classic and beloved spots, so I was eager to give it a try. While there’s no dine-in area — it operates more like a takeaway joint — the experience is still quite authentic. The heart of the place is a long charcoal grill where they prepare kebabs right in front of you, giving everything a fresh-off-the-fire flavor. I had the meat kebab served on sandwich bread, and it was absolutely delicious — juicy, smoky, and cooked just right. I also tried the döner, which is a bit spicier than the traditional Turkish style I’m used to, and it came with a flavorful sauce (something we usually only see with Hatay-style döner back home). Surprisingly, the sauce worked really well and added a nice touch. The menu offers a variety of options, including kebabs, meat and chicken döner, burgers, and even pizza.
