Possibly the best hostel experience I’ve had. Beds, location, and especially the service were fantastic. Please try the kombucha they have in the cafe! It’s a homemade recipe and it’s great. Elisa is also awesome and super kind. Once arriving she will give you a well-thought out list of things to do in Ipoh along with the locations all on a Google Maps page. The stay could not have gone any better!

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Overall, it felt safe and welcoming.Just a small note for future guests: this homestay has a “quiet hour” policy, which means you should avoid making noise — no music, no loud conversations, and try to keep your voice low in the room. During our stay, my friends and I received a noise complaint, even though we were not being loud. It may have come from another traveler nearby. So it’s important to be extra careful during quiet hours to avoid misunderstandings.Overall, I would recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay, as long as you are mindful of the quiet hour rules

Amazing stay! Perfect location in the heart of Old Town, super clean, comfy beds with curtains, and really good coffee. Elisa is the sweetest — she makes a WhatsApp group with tips and events, gives awesome recommendations, and even took us to a cool thrift night market. Free water too! Definitely recommend.

I adored everything about this hostel. The host & volunteers are so lovely and welcoming. The hostel itself is beautifully designed and has such a warm atmosphere. The beds are spacious and clean, there is free water and multiple games you can play on offer. There's an adorable 5 week old kitten called Joaa who loves to play, you can swap books, join in with multiple different evening activities and eat in the wonderful cafe. I ended up staying here for 4 nights due to how lovely the hostel is, I initially had only planned to stay for 1! The hostel is in the most perfect location for accessing the street art & murals. I would highly recommend staying here to anybody.

My stay at the hostel was wonderful. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed. There was an activity organized every evening, which allowed me to meet so many great people. We went to the food market together, had a movie night in their little café, and played board games for hours. There’s also a super extensive list of Ipoh-recommendations! Also: comfortable beds and pillows (you don’t come across that often), free water, clean facilities. Thanks again for taking such good care of me ♥️ Highly recommend this lovely place!

The best hostel experience you can get. Alice - host and spul of the place takes care of guests like perfect Asian aunty I always dreamt to have. She recommends locations and food. Creates activities for guests daily. We went on a REAL NIGHT MARKET tour. Like locals not tourists. I tried craziest Asian dishes I wouldn't dare to try without Alice. Leaving the place nearly broke my heart. Hope to see you again. The place is in historical center of Ipoh close to everything you need to see or experience. Walking from train station. Also 15 min walk to big shopping mall with good groceries
