βFood is delicious. Price is very reasonable. But waiting time is 1.5 hrs. π β
βFood is always good but always have to wait for the food. Best to call to get a table.β
βPlace was very full and have to make reservations even if for a small table for 2-3. Prawn fritters were excellent. The sweet and sour pork tasted good but the meat was a bit too tough. The French beans was normal, maybe another style would be better. Price is very reasonable.β

Yasu-β β β βEven the small portions here are generous enough to feed a family of three or four, which was a very pleasant surprise. Every dish we ordered was satisfying and clearly prepared with care, making it easy to recommend this place without hesitation. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive, offering excellent value for money. What stood out the most was the Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs. The flavor was rich, well-balanced, and deeply infused into the meat. Each bite was tender, juicy, and coated with a perfectly tangy sauce that was neither too sweet nor too sour. It was truly memorable and easily the highlight of the meal. The overall dining experience was enjoyable, from the portion sizes to the taste and affordability. This restaurant is a great choice for families or groups who want delicious food at a fair price. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to others looking for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal.
LY ONGβ β β βPatience. Thatβs the mantra that you have to use if you want to dine in here. If you did not reserve a table, likelihood you wonβt have one. So best not to walk in. Average wait is 45 minutesβ¦ Food wise. Taste is good. But dishes can be a bit over fried. Their famous deep fried pork belly is recommended by most people, but I find it too hard and difficult to chew especially for kids. Assam fish is really delicious. Pork belly with yam is nice but portion a bit too small for big eaters.

elijahβ β β βReserve a table & probably pre order your dishes in advance because this place is frequent by locals and tourists. Wait time is super long, so if time is not your luxury, do look for other options. We were there at slightly past 5pm and the place is already full. Servers are helpful and able to help us in getting a table and taking our orders. Food in general are tasty, the steamed chicken and bean curd were superb. Helping is huge for the price we pay, very reasonable.
Simon Leongβ β β β βThis place would hit the trifecta sweet spot of "affordable, nice and tasty". We only ordered basic dishes and they were masterfully curated - hallmark of great cooking! The only thing is, you'd have to come really early especially on a weekend; higher chance of getting a table on a weekday night. Even then the wait can be at least 30min and more depending on where you're sequenced. Parking is manageable around this area.

c ph (Pink Gardenia)β β β βThis restaurant is very popular with the locals here, I was told. Generally, the cooking is good but you have to prepare to wait for your food. We waited more than 30 minutes for ours and was there about 6pm. So many people 'ta pau' and yet slowly the tables were all taken up. The deep fried prawns was light and crispy ..... nicely done. Like the sweet and sour pork which was rather tasty with the accompanying sauce. As you know, Ipoh is also famous for their bean spouts being big and crunchy. Fried with salted fish was so flavourful and appetizing.....thumbs-up! The soup of the day was steam lotus roots with pork ribs was really flavourful, came out streaming hot. To sum up, this place offer good quality food with an affordable price tag.
