Beautiful garden ambience with a very peaceful and cozy vibe. Perfect place to relax, enjoy good food, and spend quality time. The staff are polite and welcoming too. Definitely one of the nicest cafe experiences in Lalitpur!
Great experience overall. Went late but the food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Great people. You can never go wrong. 👍
A lovely spot for ambience and greenery, but patience is required as service tends to be slow for meals in general.

House 5 Cafe is located in a great area and offers a peaceful setting with well-maintained greenery. The small pond with fishes adds a relaxing touch and enhances the overall ambiance. However, the experience on the food and service side needs improvement. During my first visit, I unfortunately found a hair in my food, which was quite disappointing. On my second visit, I tried the avocado toast, which was below average compared to similar dishes offered by other cafes. The staff did not appear very welcoming and seemed to be in a rush while serving, lacking basic hospitality gestures. While the greenery creates a pleasant environment, it also comes with drawbacks—mosquitoes and insects can be quite bothersome, and there is a noticeable risk of leaves or dust getting into the food. Overall, while the ambiance and location are appealing, the food quality, service, and hygiene concerns need significant improvement. Based on my experience, I would not consider visiting again.

The café had a nice ambiance, and the coffee was good. The peach iced tea, however, tasted like it had a bit too much powder. The staff were really lovely and welcoming, but we did run into one issue: we ordered two coffees with oat milk and were charged for oat milk four times. When we asked, they explained it was because making a latte and cappuccino required more oat milk — but since we ordered just one latte and one cappuccino, being charged for four oat milks felt unfair. As a barista myself, it would make more sense to charge for two espressos plus the oat milk used, rather than adding multiple oat-milk charges. Other than that, the place was pleasant

Recently visited House 5 and really enjoyed the experience. The ambience is beautiful, with lots of greenery that makes the place feel cozy and relaxing. The food was delicious and definitely worth trying. Parking space for two-wheelers was also sufficient, which made things convenient. However, I felt the service could be improved. A warmer welcome, like a smile when entering, and small gestures such as offering water upon being seated would make a big difference. I also had to press the service bell twice to get attention. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d love to visit again. With a bit more staff training and attention to service, this place could easily become exceptional.

My recent dining experience was a bit mixed. While I appreciated the restaurant's atmosphere and unique architectural design, the food left something to be desired. Specifically, the tuna wrap was overwhelmingly onion-heavy, making it difficult to discern the tuna flavor. The spaghetti carbonara, on the other hand, was a decent dish. Parking was also a challenge, with only two car spots available, though there was ample space for bikes. If I were to return, I'd definitely be open to trying other menu items, given the pleasant ambiance.

The ambiance of House 5 is very peaceful. Their minimal decor with plants and glass windows adds such a nice touch. This cafe is truly one of a kind. The food is great, the staff is very friendly, and the place is easily accessible. I love going back again and again! :)
