It is a surprise with a lovely terrace and a more formal restaurant, where the right balance of diverse food, good quality and even better service, for dutch standards combine to the perfection. You may come for the beer, or for the location at Alkmaar downtown or simply to enjoy life, but in any occasion the food, drinks and dessert will simply make your day. So what else?

Some weird hybrid between a cocktail lounge type restaurant and a brasserie where speed is of the essence. That said, food was good. Service was attentive. But generally overpriced.
