Feyona van Dalfsen★★★★We went with a group for a babyshower-high tea. The team was very friendly and the table was nicely dressed for the occasion. Overall the atmosphere is good and the food was nice. The only thing I found surprising is that they charged extra for dietary restrictions like lactose allergy and vegetarian options (communicated beforehand). We did get a whole separate plate, which was all tasty and good, but I wouldn't say it was comparable to the 'normal' high tea (fe. where the rest received plenty of sweets, like donuts, cupcakes and croissants, we received fruit and some vegan yoghurt).

Booked in the morning, and within the limited time they prepared most wonderful table set up. Food is 10 out of 10. Love the sandwiches options and all the cakes. Such a beautiful presentation. They also served different option of loose tea. Must try if you’re around Alkmaar!

The soup was flavorful and the fries had a great crunch. Also ordered a stroopwaffle apple dessert (not pictured) and it was delightful! Not too sweet and went perfectly with an espresso. The second time we enjoyed afternoon tea. The savory items were better than the dessert, but everything was still delicious for the price. Also, we really enjoyed the selection of tea and the unlimited hot water. Would definitely recommend a high tea here with fri

The portion is probably a little on the small side in terms of one slice, but worth it still and really good. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxed, whilst also still lively. A new favourite for Alkmaar!
