This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in the center of Amsterdam, with an excellent value for money. The food is genuinely delicious and high quality, and the service is both very fast and friendly. The place is cozy and romantic, perfect for couples. We’ve already been twice. The prices are also very reasonable compared to Amsterdam standars, and trying the tiramisu is an absolute must if you visit.

We visited this restaurant in a quiet time last Wednesday. We really liked the cosy atmosphere and the welcoming service. Food wasn't bad at all but I expected more considering the price. I'd love to have better quality olive oil with my starters. In addition I would like to have a better quality toasted bread with my bruschetta. The bread i had was harder than it should. Pizza wasn't perfect. Cheap cheese and blunt tomato sauce. On the other hand the rump steak was spot on. Worth the price tag. Burata was good. Good job there.

Restaurant La Cantina is such a charming restaurant! We stumbled upon this place unexpectedly, and decided to try it on a whim. No reservations but yet the staff accommodated us and we were well taken care of. The food was very fresh, arrived without any delays and the entire staff was kind and friendly. Definitely coming back here and highly recommend it!

We happened to find this place while looking to have lunch . We ordered spaghetti and food came really fast . Their spaghetti was spot on ! We can’t get over how delicious it was . Wanted to return to have dinner but couldn’t make it. Next time!
