Love Indonesian food and saw some reviews on an amazing satay that I haven't had yet, so we made a visit. We weren't disappointed! The appetizers, satays, especially the smokey satay sauce and even the salad were delicious. Will definitely go back. *2022 edit*: the previously deliciously chunky ans smokey satay sauce has become a bit less special unfortunately, but is still good.

We had a real nice dinner before visiting the theatre. The homemade gyoza with rendang was very good. As well as the salmon sashimi and the mix of sate.

Good food, but not for the price & quantity. Also, the service was not good. The server just forgot our order for 1h & had to retake it. Also, during ordering we were asked if we wanted rice or fries with it, making it sound like it comes with the dish. A 4,50€ charge for a tiny bowl of rice is honestly the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen for a while. You can buy a kilo of rice for that! Same for the fries. At least the server should’ve been more transparent. Next time I’ll go somewhere else to get a 3 course guided chefs menu for the same price as a few pieces of chicken, 8 skewers of meat

This restaurant has excellent food and service. They have original dishes with a wide variety of tastes. As starter I can recommend the Gyoza filled with Rendang, really tasty never had Gyoza like this. The main dishes mostly involve sattay sticks, we had a variety of lamb, chicken and beef. All of them were tender and tasty. I would recommend to get fries on the side, it includes traditional sattay sauce which is more like a paste. The salad is still included. All in all a must visit when you are in Groningen.
