Burgers were good but for the price i was expecting a better and more Juicy ones. The staff and service are fast, kind and helpful. The store is beautiful and has a good atmosphere, but only the music and the noise of customers all together increases the volume which was not very comfortable for me. Then price wise, it was a normal to good experience!

Went here for dinner on a weeknight. The service was standard and well done. The menu was unique but delicious. I had the burger and it was tasty. Not quite good enough for my top ten but I’d eat it again. Four stars only because there are no printed menus and we weren’t offered English menus. All in all though a fun place for dinner.

I was staying for one night in nearby Hotel de Prince and went for a short wander when I discovered Funkenstein on March 20th 2019. It was about 830pm on a Wednesday night. The bar was not too busy and I was greeted by a friendly member of staff. He helped me through the menu board which was in Dutch. I had a very tasty BBQ burger and chips washed down by 2 glasses of shandy. Very tasty. There was a lovely old school atmosphere in the place and it was not too busy. Staff were excellent and I really enjoyed my food. I recommend the apple caramel dessert. All in it was €25. Try it!
