There is no end to restaurant choices in the area. Mondays are a bit different as many are closed. My wife found this place. Things started off perfectly when we arrived for our reservation and received the warmest of welcomes from the hostess (and our server) Noor. She was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. We ordered dishes to share. Started out with Gin and tonics. You know it’ll be good when they serve Fever Tree. Van Kleef gin and the thinly sliced ginger made it perfect. Goat cheese salad (impeccably prepared and presented). Followed by Chicken Satay with devilishly good peanut

Everything was great, the staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was aesthetic and romantic. The food took a considerably long time (about 50 minutes) despite not being neceserilly complicated (mini burgers, fries, dessert) but this is not too bad. Also, both the mini burgers and soup were spicy - this is usually not a problem for most people, but a warning for some? Overall nice evening experience

Food is excellent. Ordered fish tacos (10/10), tagliata steak (8/10 since a bit more to the medium-rare side vs the medium I generally prefer), summer ale and couple of reds with the meal topped off with homemade apple pie. Told the couple in front of me to get the fish tacos and they did. Both of us (without discussion) are returning the following day to try out some other dishes given how good the experience was today. I’m glad to have found this joint run by lovely people. A gem in The Hague.
