Visited Thyme Restaurant with two family members, and the food was genuinely impressive, delicious and well-prepared. The chicken escalope was tasty but felt a bit on the oily side, and the kofta was slightly hard, which took away a bit from the overall texture. The freshly baked bread, however, was a highlight, warm, soft, and perfect with the dishes. Overall, it was a great lunch experience. Would I go again? Maybe yes — especially with my wife for a nice outing. But for the whole family, it’s on the expensive side. It’s more suitable for a business lunch or to treat a guest from abroad rather than a regular monthly stop. If anything, it feels like an “annual treat” kind of place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, serving with genuine smiles, which added to the positive experience. The buffet during Ramadan was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, the service has been inattentive on each visit. Requests are often forgotten or delayed, and getting the staff's attention can be difficult. Despite the service issues, the food quality keeps me coming back. I highly recommend the food, but be prepared for service challenges.
