While shopping for souvenirs, my cousin and I decided to check out Hey Monday! Deli. I had seen that they were named one of Tatler’s Best for 2026, so they were already on my list of restaurants to visit for my gastronomic adventure. We went during lunch, and the place wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed dining experience. For starters, we ordered the grilled squid salad. It may sound like an unusual combination, but it turned out to be really good. It had a mix of leafy greens, grilled squid, cherry tomatoes, and was topped with crispy fried squid. The sauce tied everything together beautifully and complemented all the ingredients well. For our mains, we both chose the chicken wings. They were well-cooked and flavorful, but the herb mayo was a bit overpowering for my taste. It had a strong flavor that reminded me of mustard, which I’m not particularly fond of. Interestingly, the staff mentioned that it didn’t actually contain mustard, though it definitely tasted like it di

Searching for this place was a bit confusing. So, old Aldevinco tenants relocated here and occupied majority of the mall space. Yes, sellers of batik products and money changers are now found here. Signage was invisible and only evident at one side. It was in black and with tiny white fonts. Menu was short and on the pricey side. Place was clean. Accommodating staff. A bowl of popcorn was served before everything else. Burger was huge, manageable but tasted good even without condiments. I enjoyed the takeout food as well. As it’s an open kitchen, don’t expect to leave smelling good. The irony of the name because it’s CLOSED on MONDAYS. Still, I would consider coming back.

Beautiful little spot with great service and hands down the best cheeseburger I have had since I have been in the Philippines. Great thick patty, the spicy pickles put it over the top! A very messy burger so you will need extra napkins but worth it. Can’t go wrong. I can’t wait to go try some of the other items. And loved the American 50’s music playing. Expat owner?

The place was nice and the servers are very friendly, polite, and attentive. I unfortunately did not enjoy their food as much as I hoped. They also did not have many options. The smoked pork belly's flavor was good. Unfortunately, it was too fatty and barely had lean meat, so it was overwhelmingly greasy. The fish was great, though. It was soft, and was tangy, which I enjoyed. The chicken was unfortunately unpleasant. While the sauce were great, the chicken had thick and hard breading. My first bite of the chicken was just all breading, which was too hard to chew. Overall, the place is a good place to dine in, but food wise, it safe to say it depends on your preference.

The overall experience was positive, with some areas for improvement. The burger was a highlight—delicious, not greasy, and featuring a unique flavor. In contrast, the pork belly was a bit greasy, though its sweetness was perfectly balanced. The grilled cheese felt overly eggy and heavy, but it was well complemented by the soup, which provided a nice contrast. While I enjoyed the meal, I found the prices to be higher than the flavors offered.

The food was amazing. I had the Grilled Cheese and it was very tasty accompanying with the tomato basil soup. I also had a bite of the Fish sandwich which was also good considering they used Lapu-lapu as the fish. The service was very accommodating. They served us complementary popcorn to start our appetite and they automatically refill our water as it emptied. The atmosphere was great too where you kind of see an open kitchen and see the plates in front. Overall, I was really satisfied for my first time dining here. Will come back and try the other dishes on the menu.

I had a really satisfying meal at Hey Monday! Deli. I absolutely love their burgers — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pork belly is also a must-try, tender and well-seasoned with a delicious balance of crisp and savory taste. Their grilled cheese is rich and comforting, with perfectly melted cheese in every bite. The place has a cool and relaxed vibe, making it a great spot to enjoy hearty comfort food. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving satisfying deli favorites.
