Had dinner with my brother here in Manam. We both enjoyed the food. I especially liked the Crispy Tawilis but it turned out it’s just a holy week menu item for them, and not all year round. Update: Came back to try other dishes too.

Manam is hands down still my favorite Filipino restaurant. It’s my go-to for Filipino comfort food because the food is always consistent, familiar, and comforting in the best way. You come here already knowing you’ll leave happy. My usual orders never change, and for good reason: lumpiang ubod, sinigang (especially the watermelon sinigang), crispy pata, and their mango pomelo shake. This time, we also added chicharon bulaklak and pancit bihon, and everything was exactly what I wanted it to be. Well-cooked, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing. This is the kind of food you order for the table and slowly, happily disappear. Service was excellent, too. Our server, Arjay, was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. It’s always nice when good food comes with genuinely warm service. Manam stays a favorite for a reason. Reliable, comforting, and always worth coming back to when you want Filipino food done right.

Came here on my first day in the Philippines and it was the BEST welcoming meal. Tried their squid sisig, garlic beef, gising gising (bitter gourd cooked in coconut cream), buko pandan sago drink the STAR OF THE SHOW: ube sago!!! Everything was DELICIOUS, we got medium size of the beef and small for the other 2 dishes and that was sufficient for a group of 3. I highly recommend trying the ube sago, every table we saw had at least one. The drinks did come out slow and we were almost done with the food before it came out.

Still good for Filipino comfort food. But the crispy pata was so ordinary and the palabok which was amazing in presentation, fell flat and was expensive for the price. Still a go-to place to bring friends and family and foreigners. One thing we liked was the friendliness of our server Froi. Such a pleasing personality even if we had so many things to ask and request. Will go back to Manam and definitely try the next new Manam in Cebu!

Manam at SM Aura delivers modern Filipino comfort food done right. The dishes are bold, familiar, and elevated perfect for sharing with friends or family. Crowd favorites like Crispy Sisig, Beef Caldereta, and Watermelon Sinigang never miss. The space is stylish yet cozy, service is fast, and the vibe feels upscale without being intimidating.
