As foreigners, we honestly felt that 5 stars was the limit for this system, and I'd actually give it 10 stars. My favorite was Arroz De Tamboril; the unique sauce paired perfectly with the risotto. The potatoes and grilled octopus at Polvo à Lagareiro were the best I've ever had, and I also loved the Saladas à Cantinho. Paulo Jorge was incredibly friendly and handsome. This is a delicious restaurant definitely worth visiting again.

Nothing fancy restaurant, however, the food is fantastic, authentic, diverse choice of meals prepared to taste and feel like “mom’s cooking”, staff are super friendly, relaxed atmosphere, when not busy past the lunch rush. We have eaten there every day during our week’s stay in Lisbon. Highly recommended.

The clams had great flavour. There was no way to eat the soup. After already consuming the dish the gentleman offered me some bread. It’s already too late. The picanha was tough and overcooked. Felt like poor quality meat. Potatoes soggy. The octopus was good. At least the beer was cold. Overall a huge disappointment. I regret coming to this place.

A hidden gem found by chance—absolutely wonderful! After a terrible experience at the place next door, I happened to find this absolute gem. Even though the restaurant was completely full and very busy, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I ordered takeout to eat back at my hotel, and the food was amazing—even as a carry-out meal, the quality was outstanding. I’m actually glad the other place was so rude, or I never would have discovered this wonderful spot. If you’re looking for great food and genuine hospitality, this is the place to go!
