Enjoyed this restaurant so much on our first night that we returned for our third and final night in the area. Really friendly staff and good food. It is a small place, the first night (Tuesday) it was very busy but it was very quiet on Thursday. The pig cheeks are amazing, ate them on both occasions. Also really enjoyed the clams. The local sausage was too ready for me and on our second visit disappointed to realise that 'broken eggs with asparagus" had very little of the latter but lots of (unmemtioned) chips. Coffee was good and on our second visit we shared an excellent dessert.

Service is friendly and casual. When leaving us the menus, the lady confidently told us that everything was good and we wouldn't be disappointed no matter what dish we chose. For 2 people, we were recommended 3 tapas, so we went for the shrimp, pork cheeks, and alheira with apple. All dishes were very hearty and flavourful. Dessert was excellent as well (forgot what it was, but it looked like a chocolate pie). The only let down were the fries, which on the menu were called "homemade" but from the look, taste and texture just seemed store bought and frozen - they could've at least added a dash

Very friendly owner who's stoked to introduce us to all of their dishes. Large portions for tapas and everything was delicious. Would absolutely go back if we ever find ourselves in Sintra again. Fried octopus, pork cheeks, rump, not to mention the incredibly savoury mushrooms.
