“We ordered from Hungerstation and it was extremely disappointing. Their beef broccoli was mostly broccoli with very little beef. The chicharon bulaklak was very tough and hard to chew. It was a completely waste of money. Please improve your food quality and service.”

Rhap Zaman★★★Tried Black Pinoy recently and the ambiance really gave that authentic Filipino “Pinas” vibe — lively, energetic, and very familiar. The place was quite noisy though, so it may not be ideal if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience. For the food, the kare-kare tasted good overall, but the beef was not as tender as expected. The laing was disappointing because the gabi leaves were dry when bitten and it lacked the creamy coconut milk flavor that usually makes laing rich and satisfying. We also ordered sizzling tofu, but instead of savory and sizzling, it tasted sweet like sweet tofu dessert rather than the classic sizzling tofu flavor. The restaurant has a great Filipino atmosphere, but the dishes could still improve in texture and balance of flavors.
Jov Tulagan★★★★It was my first time to dine at this restaurant. The food waa good especially the chicken bbq. The bicol express that we ordered didn't seems to be a bicol express though still tasted good. What we have ordered was a good set of foods. The serving time is fine about 20mins though the bbg took around 30 to 40 mins.. We almost done with our dinner when it arrived. only downfall and needs to improve are the staff though not all. Some of them are not welcoming and replying to our request with attitude.
sherwin bare★★★My friend and I were there around 3:55 a.m. on May 27, 2026. The place has become much bigger, and the staff were accommodating, which we appreciated. However, we were disappointed with the food quality. The BULALO bone marrow had a very bad smell, and when I tried to eat my favorite part, it was undercooked and smelled spoiled. The corn added to the dish also seemed spoiled. The DINAKDAKAN was spoiled as well and did not taste the same as before, when it was usually served fresh. Because of this experience, I feel that the food handling this time was not good. CATS are welcome inside the venue which they should also avoid them from coming inside. Ate kindly gave me a feedback form, and I am hoping that the food handling system will improve immediately to maintain food quality and customer safety.
Skye BlessedDel★I ordered their Takoyaki and Palabok online thru hunger. The palabok presentation as you can see is very disappointing already. Gets worst when it comes to taste. Doesn't even taste Palabok at all and it's too salty. Pasta is overcooked, minimal toppings, just eggs and chicken skin. Their takoyaki is half cooked and tasted like Squid balls no bonito flakes just mayo and seaweed as toppings. I always order online and I've never been this disappointed with food. This will probably the first and last time I'll be ordering here.
Pupung Amarante★★★★★Black Pinoy is like my second home. I always come here for breakfast or dinner because I don't cook at home, and it's conveniently located right next to where I live. I want to thank and appreciate Ms. Farah, Ms Leslie and Mr. Bong, ang bago na Black Pinoy resto manager for always accommodating and attending my customized orders.😀 I always ask for my sinigang to be cooked without cooking oil and no sour taste, and they consistently served it well! Thank you for making my meal tasty and for instructing your cook to prepare it just the way I like it!😀👍👍👍
John Kent★★★★Positive: The food was great and good sequence of service. Staff was good especially Ms.Farra she was so kind with a positive attitude, always smiling while interacting on every guest. She was showing some of the key parts being a good service. Negative: just avoid only stray animals entering the restaurant.
jesus Canilao★We are very disappointed, especially with the service. We would understand if they were busy, but there were only two tables. We requested rice and iced tea multiple times, but it took too long. We did not ask for the receipt because we were still eating, but they gave it to us anyway. Why? Especially the female staff, even though she was listening to us, she still ignored us. We spend our money and time because we also want great service and a comfortable place, so we planned to eat at this Filipino restaurant, but we feel disappointed. I'm sorry, but we are not coming back again. I think the problem is their communication skills.
