Rosli Sulaiman★★★★★Rumifolks is one of the more chill and aesthetic café spots around the Haji Lane / Bali Lane area in Singapore, especially if you enjoy cozy café vibes, creative coffee drinks, and a relaxing place to lepak with friends or do some light work. The café was previously known as “Rumi The Poet’s Cup” before reopening nearby with a refreshed concept and brighter interior. The atmosphere is probably the biggest attraction here — warm lighting, bookshelves, plants, artsy decorations, and a calm ambience that feels very fitting with the Haji Lane culture. Many visitors mention the friendly staff and comfortable environment for long conversations or just enjoying coffee slowly. For drinks, their signature items like the Pandan Latte, Butterscotch Americano, Strawberry Matcha, and Salted Caramel Macchiato are among the popular choices. The coffee menu is more unique compared to many standard cafés nearby, especially if you like sweeter or flavoured specialty-style drinks. Food-wise, the menu
Aqila Sani★★★★★Really enjoyed my time here! The ambience was great, the seating was cosy, and the overall vibes were immaculate. Loved the playlist too, the song choices were amazing and made the place feel even more welcoming. Had the Rumichino and it was nice! Personally, I would’ve preferred it a little less sweet, but that’s just my taste. Also, shoutout to the staff for being so friendly and warm throughout. Had a lovely experience and would definitely visit again! :)
idelanz m★★★★★⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a Singaporean, I absolutely love the vibe at Rumifolks on Bali Lane. It's one of those rare places where you can truly slow down, relax, and enjoy the moment. Unlike many cafés in Singapore that can feel rushed or crowded, this place has such a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The food and snacks are delicious, and every dish I ordered exceeded my expectations. The coffee is excellent too—great quality and very reasonably priced. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. The music is thoughtfully selected—not too loud, just enough to create a relaxing ambience that's perfect for conversations, reading, or simply unwinding. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. What makes Rumifolks truly special is its genuine commitment to arts, poetry, culture, and the creative community. It's inspiring to see a café that not only serves great food and coffee but also creates opportunities for cultural exchange, artistic expression, an
Zwyy★★★★food and service was good! except we came at night for dinner and oh my goodness was it noisssssyyyyyy! 😅 there was live music playing downstairs hosted by the cafe & me & my friend sat upstairs to eat, the cheers and crowd noise level + the live music/speeches from downstairs were quite loud, thank God we could close the window to drown it out abit or me & my friend wouldn't be able to hear each other a lil bit too expensive when it comes to the drinks tbh 1 thing to note too, i requested for NON spicy aglio olio, was assured by the staff that the aglio olio would be done without spice and that he would let the chef know, no chilli pls when my aglio olio arrived, it was spicy!!!!! i think the chef forgot so i had to wait quite awhile for them to remake it again without the spice :')
kai★Nice looking place, but food and service were slow and terrible. I understand stocks might be slow on a Monday afternoon, which is why i didn’t mind when stuff was OOS. But ordering buttermilk pasta, i expected a saucy creamy yellow pasta like i saw in other reviews. However, i was served some weird cross between a aglio olio and cream pasta. matcha was not bad but slightly diluted and i expected better from a $10 matcha. Not only that, I waited almost 30 mins for my drink, and an hour for food. Will never be back again.
Islander Of The Gods★★★★Managed to check out the place since we are around the neighbourhood. Check out Google and saw that this place was one of the cafe to check it out.If not wrong it’s a 2 storey cafe. We managed to have a seat inside as outdoor tables have not been set up cos it was just after a heavy rain. Tried their flat white, spanis latte and Caramel latte. Had their Tiramisu and Mango Cheese Cake. Did not managed to try their mains from the menu.
Dion★Sharing honest feedback after lunch at the Bali Lane outlet today with colleagues, quite a far cry from previous visits. We arrived at 12:02pm, just after opening, and were told the kitchen needed 10 more minutes before taking orders. I understand if there’s a lack of manpower, but If you're open at 12pm, the kitchen and bar should be ready to operate at 12pm, not still prepping and figuring our after customers have already arrived. We were seated upstairs to wait, but ended up going up and down twice before finally placing our order, as the wait ran longer than expected. A good number of items weren't available… the teh tarik was still brewing, rice bowls couldn't be made as the rice hadn't arrived, and several pasta dishes were off the menu due to no cream in stock. It's hard to understand how a restaurant opens for service without basic stock like rice and cream on hand. Drinks took about 20 minutes, and food took close to an hour from when we arrived. The buttermilk chicken past
