My husband is from Peru and we wanted a taste of home while on holiday in Madrid. We live in the US and I’ve had Peruvian food in Miami, DC, Des Moines, Scottsdale, etc…and although it’s been good, I’ve never had a Peruvian meal outside of Peru that was this on-point! Being honest, this anticucho was the best I’ve had. Period. Including my favorite spot in Lima. The Inca Kola comes in the classic glass bottles. The ceviche is perfectly spicy. The chicha has just enough cinnamon and lime. The attention is warm and friendly. We went on a Friday night and there were two gentlemen playing guitar

To be honest, the atmosphere is pretty mediocre. I felt like the air quality wasn’t great, and the chairs were covered in stains. Considering this is a historic establishment, they should at least make sure customers don’t feel uncomfortable.

It’s a small & normal place. Staff is attentive & friendly. The Peruvian beer is soft & Good. Not all the dishes on the menu were available but there’s still a choice. The rice dishes were very tasty. Ceviche & meat dishes were ok. In my opinion As you can see in the pictures the dishes lack presentation.

This Peruvian restaurant is the best! The staff is so friendly and they have great cocktails! La Resbalosa is perfect if you have a sweet tooth, and the Fine Estampa if you like something with a bit more strength ;)
