The restaurant is under the arcade of the old city. We ate under the arcade in the shade of a late autumn Sunday lunch. This restaurant serves lots of local produce, including cheese, meats, including their famous pork sirloins, and tapas, which are typical Spanish dishes sourced locally from Extremadura. Probably one of the most typical Spanish foods and quality that I have ever experienced. If you happen to stay over in Badajoz like I did for a weekend, make sure you try this restaurant. Excellent food and good value too.

This bodega is located adjacent to one of the biggest attractions for those visiting Badajoz,La Alcazaba. It has indoor and outdoor dining; the indoor dining room is lovely, but given that we had our dog, we ate on the covered patio outside. The service was very good and attentive, even though they were closing shortly. We had steaks and they were very good on a cold night. The dinner was quite filling. I highly recommend it.

We sat inside in this exquisite restaurant near the Alcazaba of Badajoz. Staff is quick and friendly, always asking how we want our food and such. For food we shared the Torta de tierra de Borras, which isn't a mud cake as google translate had us believe. It is cheese from the region of Borras. Next homemade croquetas wirh chicken and bacon, a new flavour for us. Second main meal was the solomillo, which is very soft meat. And we got two different licors after, limoncello and Bailey's. Woukd fully recommend this restaurant
