Sofia Biegeleisen★★★★★

We decided to eat here because it is one of the few places in the city with a good variety of vegetarian/pescatarian options and the food exceeded our expectations. We ordered three dishes and all were excellent. The menu is creative and all the food seemed homemade and high quality. I especially loved the tartar sauce that comes with the Venezuelan empanadas. I like tartar sauce in general but this one was exceptional and was perfect for the dish. The ambiance was also very nice. Highly recommend.

Had a really lovely meal on a quiet Thursday night. The croquettes were so tasty & we really enjoyed the pork belly & the aubergine fries. Thoroughly recommend.

I thought the food was good here, although seemed a bit expensive for what it was. I had the scampi with spinach and a kombucha. I recommend the scampi as it was tasty and a good portion size. The small bottle of kombucha cost double with a beer cost so I wouldn’t order that again as the value just wasn’t there. The service was friendly.

The best gazpacho I have ever eaten! It was dark red and very thick, with little chunks of jamon and some other veggie in the middle. My son had fried chicken pieces that where light and crisp with a touch of paprika in the batter and juicy on the inside. The portions are generous and the staff are genuine and very, very friendly. If you are not staying they sell their bread and other local gourmet goodies, including olive oil, to go.
