My wife & myself spent New Years Eve here 2025/26. It was an incredible atmosphere, with great music in the background leading up to the festivities at midnight. The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish and the service was without fault at all. Although we were served by almost everyone on duty that night, they were ALL extremely friendly and helpful. Obviously, due to the occasion, everyone was of good cheer and enjoying themselves, but this was made very easy by the "vibe" of the place and the staff. Sometimes service is the difference between a 4 and a 5 star review. The food here was very good. But what really made the difference was that the staff at Alquimia was willing to serve us a few minutes after 330pm when 4 other nearby restaurants would not. Always important to know the customs of where you are and in most places in Spain, 330 is a hard stop for lunch. So, our gratitude to the staff for being so nice and accommodating, especially on a day when they have no evening service. The curry chicken was quite good as was the creamed vegetable soup.

This is a lovely restaurant. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. The service is amazing and ofcourse the food is fantastic. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, they do get very busy, so I would recommend booking a table in advance!

Wagyu Burger was raw inside. Chips oily and not properly fried. Menu mentioned jam which was missing Veal escalope had no sides. Waiter did not ask once whether we were happy. Had to go inside to pay and mentioned that the burger wasn't good. He just shrugged and handed over the bill at full price. Urine smell at outside seating on the street. No Wifi.
