Richard★★★We had a 12.30 lunch booking. We arrived 3’ early but were a bit surprised to see people waiting outside -> it feels like the restaurant could have welcomed people in to sit even if they are not formally open yet (Barcelona can be quite hot). Overall the food is impressive and culinarily advanced. However, there were few dishes that were genuinely delightful. Advanced techniques ≠ delicious. Eg, there was a gelatine penne/carbonara dish, which while impressive (the penne is transparent) wasn’t finger-licking good. The wine pairing was nice but quite heavy. The food was good but portioned too
Eduard A.★★★★★Prepare for my podcast review 🤣 I celebrated my 30th birthday at Disfrutar, and honestly, it was on a different planet. The vibe hits you as soon as you walk in. The design is very Cadaqués/costa brava, with those beautiful ceramics and textures that feel high-end but still somehow cozy and welcoming. It’s elegant without being stiff, which is exactly what I wanted. The food is a total trip. It’s a genuine culinary journey where they play with textures and artistic presentations that I’ve never seen anywhere else. Every course is complex and thoughtful, and the wine pairings were a highligh
Joseph T★★★★★Such an excellent experience. There was very little room for improvement. From the moment we were let in, all staff were very friendly and extremely aware. We ordered the tasting menu and the wine pairing. The food was delicious, with a few exceptional dishes in between. It really was a journey of flavours. The wine fit all the dishes so well. The atmosphere was very pleasant. All other guests were very well behaved and everyone was enjoying themselves. A special mention to Jennifer, David, Talia and Jan the sommelier. They really made our night and we couldn’t have wished for better ser
Hoong Nan Young★★★★★We recently spent 18 days in Spain, and during our trip, we had the opportunity to dine at Disfrutar and DiverXO. Both were amazing!!! I was initially worried that since we dined at DiverXO before Distfrutar, that we might be disappointed with Disfrutar (DiverXO set the bar really high). Well... we were not disappointed. The food, and service were excellent. We dined with friends in Barcelona that we hadn't seen in 13 years, so it worked to our advantage that we were not seated in the main dining room. It allowed for a more private dining experience. But others might prefer to be seated in
