The cheese was dry in the edges from being outside too long, the croquettes were fried too long and the sausageses and ham were dry. The canned mussels were the best in this meal, I can not recommend this place.

It wasn't bad, but nothing special. I expected more from the tortilla; it wasn't a proper Betanzos style because the egg wasn't runny. Nothing to write home about. For the price difference, the four-person tortilla is worth it. The squid croquettes were tasty. The tomato was sliced so thinly it looked like it had been sliced like a deli slicer. The dining room isn't very spacious either.

A great option for enjoying a tortilla, peppers, empanadas, quality cured meats, or good preserves in Campo Castillo. The Betanzos-style tortilla with Padrón peppers is a sure bet. Go and try it. Attentive service and moderate prices.

It's a restaurant right in the heart of the historic center with a very old-fashioned atmosphere, perfectly in keeping with the area. The food is typical Spanish, delicious, and reasonably priced for what you'd expect in downtown Lugo. I recommend ordering the tortilla (it won a second prize for best tortilla in Galicia), the croquettes, and the cheese board. We ordered a tortilla for two, some boletus croquettes, some cuttlefish croquettes, and a half cheese board (it's not listed on the menu, but you can order half boards), all for €36 (there were three of us).
