We came here for morning sweets but fell in love with their breakfast sandwitches ❤️ It's quite a big place, plenty of tables all around the narrow street and usually busy. Sometimes it can get a bit messy with service due to the sheer amount of people crossing their entrance but overall it was a very pleasant experience as we weren't in any hurry on a late morning breakfast. We tried their signature beef and cheese sandwitch, a sort of a club sandwitch with guacamole, ham and cheese and a toast with salmon, egg and cottage cheese, all of which were phenomenal. They came with a bit of salad

I enjoyed the food and pastries. The Service needs to improve considerably, they seem very busy. Not sure if they may not have enough people or salaries but that doesn’t justify bad replies or answers to customers specially when you ask about products. You dont experience the same in other very busy places in Malaga.

Unfortunately, it was very full so I decided to order a sandwich to take away- didn't regret it! A friend recommended me La Canasta and she was right that the food is amazing! I didn't wait for too long, the staff was quite friendly! I got a very big portion for less than 10 Euro - a sandwich with a lot of filling inside, super crunchy wedges and salad! It held me full the whole day! There is a big choice of sandwiches and everything is freshly prepared. I will definitely come back here if I get the chance to!

La Canasta is great bakery with wide variety of sweet pastries, sandwiches and breakfast choices like omelettes. You can also get there variety of juices and smoothies. Must have to visit, if you like pastries and breakfast.
