La Tabernilla is a real gem in Málaga Centro. The food was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and clearly made with care. What really made the experience special was the staff: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. On top of that, the place itself is super nice, cozy, and full of charm. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and highly recommend.

Spent my birthday there in May and had honestly an amazing time. Tapas were so so good, the tomato cream with tuna tartar were one of the best things I've ever had in my life! Sol the hostess is so sweet and welcoming 🧡 all the staff was super nice. The tinto de verano 10/10. Super recommend!

The quintessential tapas, small bites experience was what we were looking for on our cruise port stop in Malaga. This lovely indoor-outdoor restaurant- tavern delivered! Our server was named Sol who spoke perfect English and described some of the menu items. Try the Sangria!! Homemade with orange slices mixed in. The best chicken - moorish -style was devinely moist. The cod- fritters with honey cane aioli... so fresh! So were the cuttlefish croquettes and baby squid. Tabernillas is just around the corner from the Basilica Santa Inglesia, the biggest in town. You wont be disappointed in this n
