Even we leave in the nearest town Salobreña, we prefer to eat meat at Mesón Antequera in Motril because it is cooked using natural firewood! It should be mentioned that this place is quite popular in Motril, once at lunch time we occasionally decided to have lunch there, but there was a chain and we needed to wait for a free table to sit at. Therefore, fir the rush time it's better to order in advance. It is also a pleasure that the owner is serving the guests too, so you can ask about the history
