Some places grab you from the very first visit. Bar Postas was that place for us. We walked in on our first day in Madrid, fresh off a city tour and ready to dive into Spanish food culture, and Bar Postas set the bar impossibly high from the start. The vermut de grifo was a revelation. One sip and I understood why vermouth became a staple throughout our entire 15 days in Spain. It's a place to grab something quick to eat. We waited patiently for a seat because we had walked 35min to get here as we been here before, 5 years ago and happy that the place still as crowded as when we first came. The calamaris sandwich are delicious, we had a few selection's, Their cider is delicious! It's very worth coming here! It's wheelchair accessible as every staff are super helpful!

This review is a bit late, but the food here was really good. I went for their Bocadillo de Calamares, and it did not disappoint. The bread was crispy and fresh, and the calamari inside was soft, not rubbery at all. The sandwich is simple but flavorful, with a touch of mayo that makes it really enjoyable. I’ll definitely go back if I’m in Madrid again.

It was a very nice experience, staff very friendly especially Eugenio (manager ??), he was extra "simpático". We had bocadillos de calamar, merluza, olives and cañita of beer. We came two days in a row to Eugenio's dismay.
