The Marzipan Cake was so delicious, making me want to have a second piece. The sweetness is not overpowering. We came here to avoid the rain but turned out to be having the best afternoon tea.

According to the tour guide, this is first non religious institution to make marzipan cakes commercially in Toledo. Marzipan cakes were exclusively made and sold by the nuns and this cafe uses the original recipes from the nuns. In Summary, it was absolutely delicious and I loved every bite of it. The cake is really sweet with a lovely texture. It was also quite filling and perfect as a snack. The staff were absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere is pleasant. Do stop by this cafe if you are ever in Toledo!

We got one of the only two tables in here, so that may change how we feel about this place. 2 pm on a Thursday and it was empty. We got two of each of the different mazapan, two waters, and a coffee from the self-serve machine. The coffee was only EUR 1:50, but it was terrible...far too sweet and I didn't ask for sugar. There were 7 total different mazapan each, and we feel that they pretty much all taste the same, so I would recommend getting just a couple each. They are good, so that's not the issue, it's just that 7 was too many! The server was lovely.

I didn’t see any service here. Sit by a table for a while, none clean the dirt table left by previous guest. Food is too sweet, no much flavour. The smoothie I ordered were very chunky, not smooth at all. Overall disappoint both food, drink and service.
