David McBee★★★★★My first day in Valencia and happened upon Portolito Centro. They were open late (until midnight). Host and our waiter Joel were both friendly and helpful about menus and options. I had a glass of rioja and ordered the Argentine steak. It was perfect! Seasoned nicely, tender, and cooked perfectly! The frites were delicious too. Friend had the veggie burger and said it was delicious and the bread was excellent. Definitely plan to return. They have a vegetarian sampler for 2 and a seafood sampler as well. Lots of cocktail options too

We ordered from the Daily Menu and the food was fantastic!! For only 19.90 euro each we had a delicious big salad as a starter, and for the main I had steak and my partner scorpion fish. The dessert was also included. Our waitress was very attentive and spoke great English. Highly recommend this place!!

Spongy, but not chewy. Juicy and tender. Rice was both creamy and crunchy (no idea, ho they achieve it). Beer - Aguila unfiltered is a true gift for a beer lover. Wine was good (what else do you expect from Valencia?). But brandy (Veterano) is exactly what one can expect as a perfect digestive. Service was incredible, atmosphere - friendly and warm. So, highly recommend the place!
