王信宏★★★★Mercado de San Miguel is basically a giant, somewhat upscale food-court. It's an indoor market with dozens of stands offering just about every sort of Spanish cuisine (and some non-Spanish, as well). The beverage stands range from draft-beer, to wine, and craft cocktails. It's almost impossible to describe the variety of foods available. There's raw seafood, stuffed olives, paella, baked goods, confections...etc. It's a great place to go with friends for snacks and drinks, or to make a meal out of many small-dishes. It's definitely a touristy place that's not meant for an intimate meal.
Rafael Martinez Villalgordo★★★Good snacks for mid-morning snack. Fast and well attended service.
Luis López del Moral (CompraMuebles)★★★★★My experience at 4ta Esencia was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive service, which made me feel right at home. But what truly stands out is the high quality of their sandwiches: made with fresh, well-combined ingredients, served on good bread, and presented with care. And what can I say about the cremaet? Perfectly prepared, with the ideal balance of liqueur, coffee, and foam—a true delight for the senses that you won't find everywhere. If you're looking for a place to savor delicious sandwiches and enjoy an authentic cremaet,
Manu Nebot★★★★This place has the wrong name; it should be called "The 4th Patience," because for non-regular customers, the service is incredibly slow (35 minutes). The bartender is arrogant and rude, while the waiter in the dining room is good. I did notice that regular customers get served quickly; maybe they order via WhatsApp. That said, the sandwiches are delicious, they come with olives and peanuts, and the price is good considering the quality. It's a good place for lunch, but the service is slow.
