I’m not usually a big fan of Java Lounge. But the last visit was sooo pleasant I had to make a review. The service was super friendly. The guy served me had an ear to ear smile for everyone came through the doors. And that made me super happy. A very good example of the front staff can make or break a brand.

Excellent food and friendly service! We had a lovely experience at Java Lounge Jawatte. I really enjoyed the vibe and ambience. Although we didn’t eat food, I had a chocolate milkshake, and it was absolutely delicious. The cashier was kind and friendly—very polite and helpful 🤩. The rest of the staff were also professional and welcoming. The space isn’t very large, but overall it was a great experience. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and warm service 👏☕

I went in to satisfy my sweet tooth at around 11PM on a weekend. Me and my friend ordered slices of the coffee cake and the chocolate nightmare which were both wonderful. The coffee cake slice was neatly garnished with two coffee beans on the edge. Even though it was last at night, we stayed and were chatting until their closing time which is 1AM. The staff were really nice and it was a 5 star experience for sure.

Food and setvice was good but there was only 1 server during friday lunch time. So response was friendly but slow. The chap who helps with parking was really helpful. He coordinated in-out traffic and jawatte road traffic until my elderly lady passengers slowly got into the car. Thank you for making it a good outing for them. 🙂

Went to Java Lounge and ordered a slice of carrot cake from the display. Simple job, just cut and serve. I asked at the counter if I should wait there or go sit. The cashier said they would bring it to the table. I was sitting very nearby. After 20 minutes nothing came, so I went back to remind them. Again I asked if I should just wait and take it myself. Again they said they would bring it. Another 5 minutes later, the cake finally arrived. For all that time and waiting and effort. Not like it was extraordinary anyway. For something that should take a minute, the delay and the fact that they forgot is really frustrating. If table service is not possible, it’s better to tell customers to collect it themselves.

Service was very good as always. I suggest it for the Coffee / drinks never for the food / cakes. The cheese Croissant is horrible, even the sandwiches. If you ask them to heat it up, they put it in the microwave as they do not have an oven. Like I said, I recommend the coffee / drinks not the food/ cakes. Parking is a bit of a issue, as the location can only accommodate 4 - 5 vehicles.

Ordered 2 drinks from Uber Eats, and everything was spilt. Even when the delivery guy mentioned it was spilt, they said it was ok and asked him to take it. Totally disappointed. Half of the drinks are spilt. Is this how y'all treat customers? So bad service – shame on the name even. What a disappointing order. Will never order again. Ordered from another cafe a while ago; everything was nicely packed, with no spilling. Can't believe even when the delivery person mentioned it, they just dismissed the spilling and sent it. We aren't paying for you all to send an already half-spilt drink; tell the staff to do the job properly.
