This is a nice traditional Swiss restaurant in a quaint area along Rue du Perron. They have indoor and outdoor seating with very nice environs, perfect for alfresco dining during warmer months of the year. Opening hours are 10am to midnight (Mon to Sat), closed on Sundays. Menu is a range of Swiss cuisine with a nice wine list. We recently had dinner at Le Perron and found the classic fondue to be very good, cheese texture perfect, flavour a bit strong and spicy with a lovely taste. We also very much enjoyed their grilled sea bass, which was fresh, wonderfully flavoured and tasted excellent.

Walked in without reservation and were seated with no problem at about 5.30pm. Very precise and efficient service. Food arrived very promptly. Everything was prepared very well: the pork cheek was cooked to perfection, very tender with nice sauce and a side of super delicious polenta. The fish, sea bass, was great as well with butternut squash risotto. Definitely, a great meal, huge compliments to the chef. For dessert we had tart tatin which was absolutely amazing. Merci beaucoup!

Exceptional food and service despite not being fluent in French. We enjoyed it so much, we ate there twice.

We came specifically for fondue and left feeling disappointed. The cheese fondue arrived already bubbling aggressively and was extremely hot, making it difficult to eat. Each bite took a long time to cool, and shortly after, the cheese separated into oil and clumps. When we mentioned this, we were told it was due to not stirring enough, even though the fondue arrived overheated before we touched it. Once separated, it really should have been remade, but it was left on the table. The beef was nice, nothing very remarkable but cooked to the right temp. Regarding dietary requirements: the staff
