Came here to try the Cheese Fondue. Feel like the taste of the cheese is not as strong as the one we had few days later. Overall the food is above average. Price is reasonable, not on the high side.

When in Switzerland, trying a fondue is practically a must—and if you're in Lucerne, Pfistern Zunfthausrestaurant is a wonderful place to experience it. Located in a beautiful historic setting, the restaurant offers a wide variety of fondue options, allowing you to choose according to your taste. Wonderful location to enjoy lunch, sun/shade seating is next to the river or you can sit in open air indoors. Our lunch was delicious. We started with Wysoppli (hot Chardonnay cream soup withe croutons and herbs).. yummy. Next Power-Chacheli (falafel, various vegetables with a lemon herb vinaigrette). Finally we had Im ofe bachni Fenchel (oven baked fennel, couscous, Olive crumble & citrus cream). Each dish was enjoyable and filling. Our waitress was helpful and friendly.
