Cutesoprano★★★★★It's hard to book a table for solo diner in a michelin star restaurant. But lucky, MUME offer an option for a solo diner like me. I'm having a great night with overall experience. I book the chef's table with the half glass wine pairing. My 1st favourite is the yilan's red prawn. I will say this food is like love at the 1st bite. LoL. But it is the best i can describe for my experience. The sourdough might not be the best, but i love the idea of pickled chilli butter! LOVE IT! It is well paired with the sourdough! Wine pairing especially very well paired with the yilan abalone and wagyu short rib. As for desserts, i'm amazed that chef even thinking of making burdock as a desserts. Something i never imagine, but it actually working well with chocolate and banana. But tbh, with a combination of chocolate and banana, there is no way it will be failed. Too bad the wine pairing doesn't include any dessert wine. But i think in taiwan it's not common to drink sweet wine with desserts. The st
Jerry Tso★★★★★MUME is a cosy and intimate restaurant with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu felt both creative and refined, with innovative dishes that made great use of local ingredients. The wine selection was also well curated and paired nicely with the meal. Overall, I had a wonderful evening and would definitely come back again.

Audrey yeo★★★First visit to MUME Taipei. Reservation was easy, and the team was very accommodating with a last-minute change of date. Warm welcome on arrival and a refined, inviting ambience. The bar was particularly well presented, and the course was clearly introduced. Food presentation was excellent, with well-portioned dishes and clear explanations throughout the meal. Service was attentive and professional, and the wine recommendations were well paired. While the overall experience was polished, the flavors were average and none of the dishes stood out by the end of the course. Given the reputation, I was expecting more depth and memorability in taste. Overall a pleasant experience, but I’m unlikely to revisit.
M R★★★★Got the cocktail pairing instead of the wine paring menu and it didn’t disappoint. Sometimes the cocktails even outshone the dishes. The dishes were a little uneven but overall good. The standouts were Bonito, plum & prickly ash, the sourdough with stout butter, and high mountain cabbage with roe and venison were great. The abalone with bitter melon and the duck were good but not great. The desserts were absolute knock outs. Both the granita and chocolate. The chocolate was rich in a way that is hard to describe, with malty bits and candied whisky. Delicious. Service was good with some minor blips. Servers were very friendly, although there were some odd gaps here and there, ie I waited a bizarrely long time for the dessert. Like, my tea went cold I had waited so long. Then I waited again a long time for the bill. But otherwise it was a seamless meal. The cutlery in a drawer under the table is a bit awkward, but not a dealbreaker. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and definitely had bri
Y K★★★★★Wonderful experience at MUME. Staff were delightful. Cocktail menu was very unique - I had the Light keeper and shrimp fried rice one which were both fantastic. I enjoyed all the courses, in particular the pork jowl which went really well with the fried rice cocktail, and the Wagyu short rib was perfectly cooked. So tender! Will definitely be back!

Season Yeung★★★★★I celebrated Valentine’s Day at MUME in Taipei. Reservation was easy, and the team was very accommodating with my time change. I received a warm welcome on arrival and the ambience was very modern. Food presentation was excellent, with well-portioned dishes and clear explanations throughout the meal. Service was attentive and professional. I had the non-alcohol beverage pairing which matched well with all the dishes. I really enjoyed my experience and I would definitely dine at MUME again when I next visit Taipei.
