What people say

I would pay the price just to sit here and enjoy the greenery. The lawns have been properly manicured and the restaurant has an antique vibe to it. Despite the food portions being small, it was tasty. Great service. Swimming pool available.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on my way to the airport. This family-run restaurant set on a coffee plantation is very charming. The service was excellent along with the food. The presentation of the food was outstanding, the taste was divine and the smell aromatic. They offer coffee for purchase from the grounds along with other unique, locally made products for sale. The grounds are immaculate with the ability to walk among the rows of coffee. The experience overall was outstanding.

Amani is a gorgeous place we happened to see on our way from Arusha Airport. It's located in a coffee plantation and has gorgeous gardens where one can laze around all day. We had already had lunch and just sat there for drinks. The service was great and quick. They have an extensive food menu to choose from - I realised it had two menus in one, same things priced separately in T.Shillings and USD. Overall, it was a lovely time sitting and chilling at Amani. Next time, I'll come and try their food too!

Excellent place. Serene environment. Great Food. Great Service. This place definitely deserves all five stars but i will give it four (reason to be expressed below). Firstly this is a great place outside to hang out especially if you want to take a fresh breath away from Arusha town. The only thing they need to improve on though is the speed at which the food is prepared. I had to wait for 1 hour 40 minutes just to get what I ordered. Secondly, their point of sale POS machines do not work... How do you expect foreign customers to move with sacks of local currency when they can simply swipe, tap to pay etc...

As a local, I’ve visited many places around Arusha, but the disappointment I experienced here 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 is beyond comparison—even worse than any mama ntilie I’ve ever been to. We placed our order a day in advance and specifically asked them to reserve the food, only to be told upon arrival that they were out of chicken—the main item most of our group had ordered. Later, they said they could provide just one chicken and the rest of the food. Since we had already paid part of the amount as an advance, we reluctantly agreed. When the food finally arrived, everyone was speechless. What they “saved” for us was not what we ordered at all. We had ordered grilled chicken, but instead they served tasteless fried chicken 🤦🏽‍♀️. To make matters worse, the bill came—and that one chicken alone cost TZS 120,000 🙄! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—not even my enemies.

One nice and cool place, I enjoyed their food. If you are looking for a place out of city noise for your lunch or dinner, Amani should be your choice.
