What people say

Famous dim sum at Hatyai. Must ask driver to drop by during breakfast. Many options of dim sum similar to many Chinese cuisine in different countries. Personally like it and must try. There are definitely room for improvement.
The air-conditioned dining area at the opposite end is cosy and comfortable. They offer a wide variety of dim sum, and the ingredients are fresh! Highly recommended!
Once they give you table ticket, you can go ahead to pick by yourself the variety of homemade dim sum and other dishes so they will steam or cook for you. There also offers bak kut teh (Chinese clay pot sup with pork) & porridge. The taste is sumptuous and the price is reasonable.

Breakfast in Hat Yai was a "choose your own adventure" affair. The neighborhood is packed with options, but my family couldn't resist the legendary Chokdee Dim Sum. This local landmark is famous for its Bak Kut Teh and "steamed-to-order" dim sum. The tradition here is simple: grab a queue card, pick your favorite fresh dim sum trays at the steamer station, and wait for them to be served piping hot. The variety was impressive—far beyond your average dim sum joint—and the atmosphere was a vibrant mix of Thai tourists, Malaysian visitors, and locals.

Here’s a polished Google review you can use: ⸻ Came early in the morning and there was already a long queue 😅 But the turnover is very fast as they have three shops operating, so we waited less than 30 minutes 👍 Personally, I really enjoyed the porridge — very tasty and comforting 😋 The rest of the dishes were quite good too. Total bill was about 970 baht, which is very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Great value for money. Worth the wait and would definitely come back again 👌

A very famous dimsum shop in Hatyai, no wait time for me when I was there. But it was Friday morning, so not sure how is the crowd usually The dimsum is quite special though, just not as what I usually eat, not bad actually. They have the bahkutteh as well Friendly staff So here you will pick your dimsum first only get your seat across the street Overall it's not bad

Came to see what the hype was all about when my first choice was unavailable. I came just before closing time, but they were happy to accommodate. I ordered a selection of dishes which I hoped would give me an idea of their quality and authenticity. They include har gow, dim sim, taro bao, and bak kut teh. I was disappointed that they didnt have any chilli oil which is essential for yum cha! The har gow was trash, don't bother. Everything else was fine, nothing to sing about. The bak kut teh was nice, their saving grace in my humble opinion. Worth a visit if your curiousity is piqued.
