Second visit to Kottu Corner, and this time I went with a Sri Lankan friend to truly test their authenticity—and that itself says a lot. He loved it. We ordered Nasi Goreng, Seafood Naan Kottu, and Seafood String Hoppers Kottu. Every dish tasted spot on, well-balanced, and genuinely Sri Lankan in flavor. It was reassuring to see an authentic nod of approval from someone who knows the cuisine inside out. Their soup options were minimal, so I went with the sweet corn chicken soup. Yes, it took very long to arrive, but honestly—it was worth the wait. Fresh, comforting, and well made. Overall, the experience just reinforced my earlier impression. If you’re looking for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, Kottu Corner is a place I’d strongly recommend.

Kottu Corner - Spicy food spot Not recommended based on my experience. The food was extremely spicy, and unfortunately the cooking instructions were not followed properly. This was not the first time either. I had the same issue during a previous visit, and even with my recent Noon order, the same thing happened again. What was more disappointing is that after placing the order through Noon, they called within 5 minutes to verify the request before pickup. However, later they said the food was “already prepared” and still sent the same very spicy food without making any changes. It feels like customer instructions are not being taken seriously. Consistency and better attention to customer preferences really need improvement.

Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, generous with chicken and cheese, and tasted just like authentic Sri Lankan street food 🇱🇰 You can really feel the freshness and balance of spices in every bite.
