Have started running along Kite Beach and was always intrigued with this little car, well lucky I stopped in as I had the best and most healthiest breakfast! Bought the low carb breakfast with scrambled eggs. The eggs were nothing like I’ve ever had, they had some sort of magical ingredients which absolutely took them frame plain to shabam! Visited Common Grounds at Kite Beach today and lucked out with the most perfect cool weather. With its fully outdoor seating, the café sits beautifully between the beach and the running track, making it an ideal spot to unwind while watching the world go by. The menu offers a great variety of options. My forever favourite is the protein porridge; a comforting bowl packed with 30g of protein and lightly sweetened with honey. If you’re more of an eggs person, the smashed avocado on sourdough with a side of eggs is a solid choice and always hits the spot. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy the gorgeous weather we get at this time of year, or to refuel after a morning workout with something delicious or a good cup of coffee. A simple, relaxing, beachside experience done right.

So I checked out Common Grounds at Kite Beach the other day, and honestly, it’s a really nice spot. The café is right on the sand, so you get this awesome beach vibe while you eat , like part of the whole Kite Beach experience. I grabbed an avocado toast and a smoothie, and both were really fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly too especialy Louise, which makes a big difference, and the outdoor seating is chill , perfect if you’ve just done a run along the beach or want to relax for a bit. Portions are good, nothing skimpy, and everything just tastes… clean and satisfying. It does get busy on weekends, and some tables are a bit packed together, but honestly, the location and vibe make up for it. Definitely a nice spot if you’re strolling Kite Beach and want a relaxed coffee or brunch.
