It had been a couple of years since I was at Tamarai. Very quiet and lovely spot. The service was really fast and the food portions were generous and very filling too. We ordered drunken noodles, dim sum, potato wedges, chicken wings and sushi. The cocktails were spot on too- had a pinacolada and a strawberry daiquiri. The bartender was quite generous with the alcohol.

Their service is always on-point, we were served by Lenny last night and nothing was too much trouble. The ambiance is always good and food is stunning. They have a huge selection of food including very tasty sushi. If you are visiting Kampala, for whatever reason, you should visit Tamarai at Kololo. You will enjoy it.

Had a wonderful dinner here. Started with a Thai beef salad. Well spiced and tasty. Wife had a beef green curry and I enjoyed a chicken green curry. Both were good. What made the dinner special was the live music. Really added a lot to our dinner. Plus the ambiance is very inviting. Highly recommend

What made the experience even more special was the personal touch from the chef. After our meal, the Thai chef came out to greet us and ask how we enjoyed the food. He introduced himself and shared a bit about his background, including his impressive 8-year stint working in Dubai before moving to Uganda. His humility and friendliness made a lasting impression on us. It's not every day that you meet a chef who not only prepares your meal but also takes the time to ensure you enjoyed it. Overall, the combination of authentic Thai flavors and the warm, personal service made our lunch a memorable one.
