Asked for a steak rare- received a well done steak and then a medium well done. Very disappointed as didn’t even get an apology for the error. Service was extremely slow.

Haven’t been back here for a long time after series of bad experiences with service and/or food. Having returns recently we were all pleasantly surprised, both waitresses or tended to us were kind and attentive. The food was all hot and decent portion sizes. The skin on fries with the burgers were lovely as was the brioche buns. Coleslaw was a little too creamy with not enough cabbage. Will come back again

Absolutely outstanding experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. The food was impeccable. We had the lamb, which was pink, seasoned well, and a really good cut. My husband had the beef pie, which was rich, filling and went down a treat. We had a cocktail and beer, which were tasty and well priced. The desserts were luxurious, presented well and just the right size. We will certainly be back! Thank you for such a lovely evening! Our daughter had a lovely time

What a fantastic venue. The food was amazing and the staff were so so friendly. The mushroom starter was worldly and so flavoursome. The fish and chips here made it into my top 10 and such a great cut of fish. The lamb and pie duo was cooked to perfection and was like 5 taster plates merged into one! We had cheesy garlic bread as well and that was absolutely delicious 😋 The apple and cherry crumble was so well constructed. Not too sweet or sour and the custard accompanying was perfect. Lastly we took the dog with us and the place is so well kitted out for dogs. It even has a dog stat
